Greetings, World.

I did it. I have a blog. I’m still wondering how it happened, but I’m here to stay. Let’s see how this goes. …I’m a little excited actually. Also, fellow WordPress users, I need help. I’m so confused about how all this works. Any helpful hints are welcome.

I’ll leave this first monumental post with a quote from Charles H. Spurgeon:

The condition of the church may be very accurately gauged by its prayer meetings. So is the prayer meeting a grace-ometer, and from it we may judge of the amount of divine working among a people. If God be near a church, it  must pray. And if he be not there, one of the first tokens of his absence will be a slothfulness in prayer.

  1. I’m glad you’re finally joining us in the blagotubes!

WordPress is really a very information ready piece of programming/internettery. And what I mean by that is you can pretty much figure out everything about who is reading your blog. There whould be a cool graph thingy on your dashboard with links under it that will tell you interesting info. I think most other things I would have to show you in person. haha.

Also, nice Spurgeon quote. I must confess my Spurgeon reading is pretty much zero, but this quote is great. Prayer is key!

  2. WordPress is pretty straightforward. If you want to edit you pages, just go to the pages tab on the left sidebar of your dashboard, and then it will give you a little menu on that sidebar with what you can do. And the same goes for widgets, and posts, etc. Just mess around with it for a while and you’ll probably figure it out.
